Jenkins Mystery Bus Tour

There used to be an annual charabanc outing from our village on the Jenkins bus. One year we hadn’t  gone very far when Gertie Richards realised she’d left her teeth on her mantelpiece. Without her teeth  she couldn’t have sung Knees Up Mother Brown as she did every year while doing a knees-up along the Isle of the bus. There was nothing for it but to turn the bus around and get Gertie reunited with her teeth.
